Our Services: The Heartbeat Powering Nigerian Businesses

For over two decades, Tranter services has quietly powered the systems that keep Nigerian businesses moving. While customers experience smooth transactions and reliable services, technology works steadily behind the scenes. Behind that reliability lies a heartbeat that keeps organisations productive, secure, and ready for growth.

This story goes beyond hardware or infrastructure alone. Instead, it reflects the people who rely on technology every day to work, collaborate, and lead. Over time, consistency under pressure has become just as important as innovation itself.

The Human Side of Technology

Technology succeeds only when it supports people. From the beginning, Tranter IT focused on how systems shape real work, real teams, and real outcomes across different industries.

Rather than lead with tools, the approach starts with intent. For example, teams ask how a system reduces friction, protects critical operations, and helps employees stay focused. As a result, solutions feel practical and dependable instead of complex or overwhelming.

Because trust grows through experience, long-term relationships naturally followed.

How Tranter IT Services Supports Enterprise Growth in Nigeria

Operating in Nigeria presents distinct challenges. Power instability, connectivity gaps, regulatory demands, and rapid expansion place constant pressure on IT environments. In response, Tranter IT Services designs solutions that work within these realities rather than against them.

Through reliable IT support and automation, organisations keep systems running smoothly while reducing manual effort and downtime. Strong IT infrastructure ensures stability across networks, servers, and cloud environments, even as operations scale. At the same time, cybersecurity solutions protect critical data and systems in an increasingly complex threat landscape.

Beyond core infrastructure, Tranter IT Services supports digital growth through web development and e-commerce solutions that help businesses engage customers and expand revenue channels. Business process automation simplifies internal workflows, improves accuracy, and frees teams to focus on higher-value work. HR support services further strengthen operations by helping organisations manage talent, onboarding, and workforce systems more efficiently.

By delivering enterprise IT services in Nigeria that prioritise resilience and adaptability, Tranter IT Services helps organisations build systems that respond quickly to change. Active monitoring and proactive management identify risks early, keeping performance steady and predictable. This local insight explains why businesses view Tranter IT Services as a long-term partner, not just a provider.

Two Decades of Consistency and Evolution

Remaining relevant in technology requires continuous learning. As tools evolve and threats grow more complex, Tranter IT has expanded its managed IT services while staying grounded in reliability.

Over the years, automation, proactive maintenance, and optimisation became essential. Consequently, clients gained more visibility, fewer disruptions, and stronger operational confidence. Each phase of growth added capability without compromising stability.

That balance between evolution and consistency continues to define the brand.

Why Businesses Continue to Choose Tranter IT Services

Some of the strongest IT systems rarely draw attention. Systems stay online. Data remains protected. Teams remain productive. In practice, this quiet reliability allows businesses to focus on customers and strategy.

Across banking, manufacturing, government, insurance, logistics, and oil and gas, organisations continue to rely on Tranter IT Services because stability supports long-term planning. When technology performs consistently, innovation becomes easier and risk becomes manageable.

Looking Ahead With Confidence

Technology will keep evolving, and new challenges will emerge. However, the need for dependable enterprise IT services in Nigeria will remain constant.

Looking forward, Tranter IT Services stays committed to supporting organisations, protecting operations, and enabling sustainable growth. When technology runs smoothly, businesses gain the confidence to move forward without hesitation.

Is Your IT Infrastructure Ready for the Second Half of 2025? Here’s Your Mid-Year Health Check.

Hey there, tech-savvy leaders and IT decision-makers!

Can you believe we’re already halfway through the year? It feels like just yesterday we were mapping out Q1 goals, updating our tech strategies, and racing to implement new systems. Now, it’s time to hit pause (just briefly!) and ask an important question:

Is your IT infrastructure ready for the second half of the year?

At Tranter IT, we know that IT isn’t just wires, hardware, and blinking lights—it’s the backbone of every modern business. Whether you’re running a law firm, a hospital, a manufacturing plant, or a financial institution, your IT setup determines your efficiency, security, and ability to scale.

So before diving into Q3 with full force, let’s walk through a mid-year IT health check, Tranter-style.

1. Are Your Servers Still Performing at Their Peak?

Servers are like the heart of your IT infrastructure. If they’re overworked, outdated, or improperly maintained, everything slows down—from file access to application response times.

What to check:

  • Are your servers running the latest firmware and patches?

  • Have you noticed increased downtime or slow load times?

  • Is your storage nearing capacity?

If you answered “yes” to any of those, it might be time to optimize—or even consider an upgrade. At Tranter IT, our server management team specializes in fine-tuning performance and ensuring round-the-clock uptime with proactive monitoring.

2. How Secure Is Your Network, Really?

Let’s talk about the elephant in every IT room—cybersecurity.

The threat landscape has evolved, and mid-year is a perfect time to evaluate your defenses. From ransomware to phishing scams, the attacks are getting more sophisticated—and more frequent.

Ask yourself:

  • Are your firewalls and anti-virus solutions up to date?

  • Do you have a proper backup and disaster recovery plan?

  • Are employees trained on cybersecurity best practices?

If you’re not confident in the answers, a comprehensive network security audit can be a game changer. Tranter IT offers tailored IT support plans that include regular threat assessments and mitigation strategies.

3. Hardware: Is It Helping or Hindering Your Team?

Slow laptops, outdated desktops, flickering monitors—we’ve all seen them, and we’ve all worked with them. But do you know how much aging hardware costs your business in productivity?

Things to consider:

  • Are your systems more than 3–5 years old?
  • Are repairs becoming more frequent?

  • Are your devices compatible with your latest software tools?

If your hardware is holding your team back, it’s time to modernize. As a trusted supplier of high-quality IT hardware, Tranter IT provides scalable, cost-effective solutions—from individual workstations to enterprise-level setups.

4. Are You Getting the IT Support You Actually Need?

Here’s a real talk moment: Is your current IT support reactive or proactive?

There’s a big difference between fixing a problem after it happens and preventing it in the first place. A strong support partner monitors your infrastructure, identifies issues early, and responds fast when things go wrong.

Ask yourself:

  • How long does it take to resolve IT issues in your organization?

  • Is your IT support team available 24/7?

  • Do they understand the specific needs of your industry?

With Tranter IT’s comprehensive support services, we work as an extension of your team, providing real-time assistance, proactive maintenance, and strategic guidance—so you can focus on growth, not glitches.

5. Is Your Infrastructure Ready to Scale?

Maybe you’re expanding to a new location. Maybe your team is growing. Or maybe your digital transformation roadmap is entering a new phase. Whatever the case, your infrastructure should scale with you—not slow you down.

Mid-year is the perfect time to ask:

  • Can our systems handle increased user loads?

  • Are we cloud-ready or already in the cloud?

  • Do we have a roadmap for future IT investments?

Tranter IT can help you future-proof your infrastructure by aligning your IT strategy with your business goals, so the secind half of the year is even stronger than the first.

Final Thoughts: Don’t Wait for a Breakdown to Think About a Tune-Up

Let’s face it! Too many organizations wait until something breaks before they give their IT setup a second thought. But regular check-ups? They’re the key to avoiding downtime, protecting your data, and keeping your business running smoothly.

At Tranter IT, we believe in being more than just a service provider, we’re your IT partner. Whether you need faster servers, smarter support, modern hardware, or a complete infrastructure overhaul, we’re here to help.

Need a mid-year infrastructure assessment?
Want to upgrade your hardware or secure your systems?
Looking for ongoing IT support you can count on?

Let’s talk. We’ll help you gear up for a seamless, secure, and successful second half of 2025.

The Role of Women in IT and Tech Leadership: Inspiring Change and Innovation

In the ever-evolving world of technology, women are making their mark, driving innovation, and reshaping industries. Yet, despite their significant contributions, the journey toward equal representation in IT and tech leadership remains a challenge. With persistence, mentorship, and breaking long-standing barriers, women are redefining the future of tech.

Breaking Barriers in a Male-Dominated Industry.

The tech industry has been largely male-dominated for decades, with women underrepresented in leadership roles. However, pioneers like Odunayo Eweniyi, Damilola Olokesusi, Funke Opeke and contemporary leaders have paved the way for future generations. Today, more women are rising to leadership positions, proving that technology is not just a man’s world; it’s a place for talent, vision, and determination.

Why Women in Tech Leadership Matters.

Diversity in leadership isn’t just about fairness; it’s about innovation. Research shows that diverse teams bring fresh perspectives, foster creativity, and improve problem-solving. Women in leadership roles drive more inclusive decision-making, ensuring products and services cater to a broader audience.

Additionally, having women at the forefront of tech leadership helps close the gender gap, inspiring young girls to pursue STEM careers and dismantling stereotypes that have long discouraged them from entering the field.

Overcoming Challenges & Driving Change

Despite progress, women in tech still face challenges, including gender bias, wage gaps, and underrepresentation in executive roles. But change is happening through:

🔹 Mentorship & Networking: Programs like Girls Who Code and Women in Tech provide mentorship, creating pathways for aspiring female leaders.
🔹 Advocacy & Policy Changes: Companies implementing diversity initiatives, equal pay policies, and inclusive hiring practices are paving the way for more women to rise.
🔹 Encouraging STEM Education: Schools and universities worldwide actively promote STEM programs to encourage more women to pursue tech careers.

Shaping the Future of Tech Leadership

Women are already shaping the future of AI, cybersecurity, software development, and emerging tech fields. As more companies recognize the power of diverse leadership, the tech landscape becomes more inclusive and innovative.

The path forward requires continued support, opportunities, and a shift in perception—where leadership is about skills, vision, and drive, regardless of gender.

Women in IT and tech leadership are not just participants in the industry—they are trailblazers, visionaries, and change-makers. By fostering a more inclusive environment, we can unlock a future where innovation transcends gender barriers.

Are you ready to be part of the change?

Let’s empower and support women in tech because when diversity leads, the future of technology thrives.

The Tale of Gloria’s Suspicious Email: How To Spot A Phishing Email

Phishing is an attempt by cybercriminals posing as legitimate institutions, usually via email, to obtain sensitive information from targeted individuals.

Phishing emails have become a present and dangerous threat in the digital age. Cybercriminals are constantly evolving their tactics to trick unsuspecting individuals into divulging sensitive information, such as login credentials, financial details, and personal data. To protect yourself from falling victim to phishing attacks, it’s essential to know how to spot a phishing email.

In this blog article, we’ll discuss the The Tale of Gloria’s Suspicious Email and common Tips that helped her recognize and tackle Phishing Emails.

Once upon a time in the bustling city of Cyberdale, there lived a young woman named Gloria who lives a normal life, working a typical 9-to-5 job. Little did she know that one seemingly normal day would turn into an adventure of sorts, as she encountered a threatening creature known as the phishing email.

Below are Tips on how Gloria identified the Email and how she tackled it;

  • Gloria’s Inbox Surprise

It all began when Gloria, like most of us, opened her inbox one fine morning. Amidst the usual newsletters, work-related messages, and a few notes from friends, there was an email that caught her attention. It was from a well-known bank, or so it claimed. The email looked official, with the bank’s logo and a message stating that her account needed immediate attention.

  • The Tale of Urgency

The first sign that something was amiss was the email’s sense of urgency. The email claimed that her account had been compromised and that she needed to click a link to rectify the situation. Gloria’s heart raced as she read the message, but she took a moment to breathe. In the world of phishing, creating panic and urgency is a common tactic. She knew she needed to proceed with caution.

  • A Closer Look

Gloria decided to give the email a closer inspection. She noticed a few red flags that made her suspicious. The email address it came from was a random assortment of characters that didn’t resemble the bank’s official domain. A legitimate bank would use a proper domain for their communications. This was her second clue that something was wrong.

  • The Hidden Link

The email also contained a link that supposedly led to her account. However, when she hovered her mouse over it (without clicking), she saw the web address wasn’t the bank’s official website. It was a third-party site. This was the smoking gun – phishing emails often contain links that lead to fraudulent websites designed to steal sensitive information.

  • The Request for Personal Information

Another telltale sign was the email’s request for personal information. It asked her to provide her BVN, card pan(16 digits of her ATM card, and even her CVV. No reputable institution would ever request such sensitive data via email.

  • Trusting Her Instincts

Gloria’s instincts told her that this email was indeed a phishing attempt. She had heard about the dangers of phishing emails and how they could lead to identity theft or financial loss. With a sigh of relief, she knew what to do next.

  • Taking Action

Gloria reported the phishing email to her bank’s customer support and marked it as spam. She also shared the experience with her friends and coworkers, spreading awareness about the dangers of phishing emails. She realized that educating herself and others was the best defense against these online threats.

Also, the encounter with the phishing email was a wake-up call for Gloria and a lesson for all of us.

In the digital age, we must be vigilant when checking our emails and be cautious about clicking on links or sharing personal information. Phishing emails often come in convincing disguises, but with a keen eye and some knowledge, we can protect ourselves from falling into their traps.

The tale of Gloria’s suspicious email ends with a valuable lesson – in the realm of the internet, it’s important to trust our instincts, be cautious, and stay one step ahead of the phishing monsters in our inboxes.

In conclusion, Phishing emails continue to be a significant threat to personal and financial security. Being able to spot a phishing email is a crucial skill in today’s digital world. By carefully examining the sender’s information, scrutinizing the content, and verifying links, you can protect yourself from falling victim to these scams. Always remember that staying vigilant and following these guidelines can help you keep your personal information safe from cybercriminals.

How IoT Logistics Will Revolutionize Supply Chain Management – Lare Ayoola

Containers go missing all over the world and it usually takes months to find them assuming they are ever found. The combination of mobile computing, analytics, and cloud services, all of which are fuelled by the Internet of Things (IoT), is changing how delivery and asset management companies are conducting their operations.

The Disrupting Asset Tracking with IoT webinar, in conjunction with Connected Finland, was organized in July to shed more light on the challenges facing the asset management industry. The Asset Tracking webinar, the first of many IoT webinars, was a two-hour event with an audience of about 130 industry experts in attendance.

Asset tracking is the fastest-growing industrial IoT market worth $3.93 Billion by 2023. Delivery company DHL and tech giant Cisco estimated in 2015 that IoT technologies such as asset tracking solutions could have an impact of more than $1.9 trillion in the supply chain and logistics sector. Also, there will be 267 billion IoT asset tracking devices deployed in the global industry by 2027.

Knowing where things are at any given time can be critical to transforming business operations – reducing risk, saving money, improving efficiency, and potentially even driving new service revenue.

Now, the difference between LOST and FOUND can be as little as 12 BYTES.

“IoT Africa Networks Ltd, in partnership with Sigfox, enables you to observe your entire asset tracking network be it industrial, commercial, business, or residential in a convenient and budget-friendly manner. You might not be able to rely on electricity in Nigeria, but you can rely on Sigfox. This is because the Sigfox devices can be powered without electricity. Their battery life can last for more than four years on a single charge.” – Lare Ayoola

During the webinar, Lare Ayoola, the Executive Chairman of IoT Africa Networks Ltd, outlined the impact of IoT on the supply chain, and how IoT management will transform inventory, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, construction, insurance, security companies, and more.

Tom Lindblad, Founder, Connected Finland was on hand to shed more light on the challenges being faced in the asset tracking industry and how IoT is best positioned to revolutionize the operations of the asset tracking industry.

The IoT network, that Sigfox and IoT Africa provide, is enabling us to track things we never could have before thanks to new technologies and smaller form factors. Some of the potential Use Cases for the IoT Connectivity are tracking assets along the supply chain and receiving alerts on anomalies such as unauthorized trailer detachments, virtually fence and manage herds, intercontinental sea-freight tracking, recovery of stolen vehicles, monitor the logistic supply chain, track industrial assets, enable real-time tracking of consumer’s luggage worldwide.

The IoT Africa Networks, Sigfox, Tranter IT, and Connected Finland partnerships are strategic and critical for development in Nigeria. The major drive for IoT in Nigeria is for Companies and Cities to CONNECT EVERYTHING and stay in control of their assets and business operations.

IoT Africa Networks Limited is the exclusive Sigfox operator in Nigeria and as such, is responsible for rolling out the first IoT nationwide network in Nigeria. The IoT Wireless Telemetry is a game-changing digital technology for the asset management industry in Nigeria.

Tranter IT is the exclusive distributor of many IoT Connected devices in Nigeria. Based on experience, knowledge, and technical background, we can deploy and execute projects relating to IoT in Nigeria.

Talk to us, let us help you build and sustain a competitive edge through Data-Driven and technology-powered solutions. We are happy to help! ?
